Privacy notice

This notice covers the Sotto waitlist and this web page only. Sotto is a working name and the app is not built yet.

What we collect

Only what the sign-up form asks for:

• your email address;
• the language you want to learn first;
• which group describes you best (for example student or newcomer);
• your answer to the price question, and the planned price you were shown;
• the time you signed up and confirmed, and the consent wording you agreed to (kept by our email service as proof of consent).

We do not ask for your name, phone number, location or payment details.

Why, and on what basis

Understand which languages and prices matter, so we can decide what to build	Your consent, given in the same form. We look at answers as totals and do not make decisions about you individually.

Who handles your data

• Brevo, our email service. It stores the waitlist and sends the confirmation and update emails. The sign-up form on this page is loaded from Brevo and may set its own cookies.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this page. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details when you load the page.

Both act on our behalf. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. Some of their processing may happen outside your country; see their own privacy policies for the safeguards they use.

Cookies and tracking on this page

This page itself sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Which price you see is kept in the web address (for example ?v=B), not on your device.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe, or for at most 12 months if we haven't launched.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; that does not affect what we did before. Every update email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can also simply write to us. To use any right, email sotto.hello@gmail.com and we will reply within a month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This waitlist is not for children under 16. Please do not sign up if you are younger.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we will tell you by email and ask again where the law requires it.
